Ally Lane Estay

After surviving childhood trauma, Ally found her voice early — beginning to write as early as the fourth grade. By junior high, she was seeing her first play brought to life, and she never looked back. Allison graduated with honours in Theatre from the University of Winnipeg and went on to found her own theatrical entertainment company in Calgary, which is now entering its 28th successful year.

Ally has written and produced more than 30 shows for stage and screen, and she delivers inspiring speeches throughout the year. Described as a “natural motivator,” she has dedicated her life to helping others find their passion — working as a drama and acting teacher, personal trainer, nutritionist, ski and snowboard coach, fitness instructor, and life coach.

Today, Allison travels internationally, performing humorous and empowering shows about overcoming life’s obstacles through laughter. She has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Network, the Women’s Network, E! Channel, and across all major Canadian news networks, as well as in countless national magazines and newspapers. In 2017, she was honored as a finalist for the Canadian Woman of Inspiration Award.

Ally is the author of two books: The Chem-Ho, an autobiographical comedy about her journey through cancer and dating, released in 2018, and a humorous writing manual available now. An advocate for the healing power of the arts, she lives by one mantra — why wait? Through her work and her words, she empowers others to rewrite their stories and find joy in the process.
