
Ania Danylo
Ania Danylo is an award-winning theatre professional with over 30 years of experience as an actor, director, writer, and educator. She has directed and performed in numerous acclaimed productions, including The Diary of Anne Frank, Medea, The Glass Menagerie, and Cymbeline.
Ania is the founder of Prelude Artists, a performance and education company that has produced original touring shows across Western Canada and currently offers comprehensive training in acting, communication, and music.
She has held leadership and teaching roles at respected institutions including Storybook Theatre, Young People’s Theatre, JRP Film Academy and the Royal Conservatory of Music, where she has been a long-standing registered teacher of Speech Arts and Piano. Her students have consistently earned top recognition in their disciplines.
Ania brings a strong background in arts education, program development, and community engagement — with a commitment to mentorship, creativity, and inclusive storytelling.
Ania is also the author of two children’s picture books, with more on the way. Her teaching motto? “Your most important job is to have fun!”
