Nicole LeClair

Nicole’s roots trace back to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where her love for art began at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. As a visual artist, she pursued her passion at Red River College, focusing on Advertising Art.

After living in Alberta for seven years, Nicole explored the local arts scene, acting for four years. She studied under instructors Joe Norman Shaw and Christian Hirt at the Company of Rogues.

Despite her time in the West, her heart remains in Winnipeg, reflecting its multicultural vibrancy and rich Indigenous heritage in her artwork.

Nicole’s style prominently features pointillism and white birches, capturing intricate details through vibrant colors and symbols that honor her Métis heritage. For her, painting is a comforting journey that echoes ancestral stories, celebrating identity, resilience, and life itself.
